Linda Wilcox Bonnifield.
– Linda Wilcox Bonnifield, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Linda fought a courageous nine-month battle with lung cancer, facing it with the strength of her deep Catholic faith.
Born on August 25, 1943, in San Francisco, California, Linda called Paso Robles, California, her home for many years, where she attended Paso Robles High School before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina, 24 years ago. Linda retired two years ago from Macy’s, where she worked for 24 years, known for her warmth and dedication. A devout Catholic, she was very active in her church, finding joy in serving the Lord and remaining vibrant in her elder years through parish ministries and prayer groups. Her faith guided her and inspired those around her.
Linda was a loving mother to her daughter, Cyndie Teofrio (married to Matthew), and son, Jim Bonnifield (married to Stacy). Always very positive, she cherished her four grandchildren—Michael Teofrio (Nicole), Brianna Adair (Jason), Russell Bonnifield (Marci), and Alex Bonnifield (Theresa)—and her eight great-grandchildren—Ella, Owen, Lucy, Lucas, Emily, Samantha, Gianna, and Roman—always sending them ornaments and never missing a birthday. She is survived by Cyndie and Matthew, Jim and Stacy, her brother, Gary Giles, her grandchildren and their partners, and her great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Church in Paso Robles, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rose Church, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, or Mission San Miguel Arcangel.
Linda Wilcox Bonnifield’s legacy of faith and love will live on. Rest in peace.
